Kajima is performing extensive research and development concerning offshore structures, coastal structures and river and waterway structures. Design, construction and maintenance of the structures are important topics. The experimental facility (Large scale wave basin and water flumes) and the various numerical simulation technologies are utilized to meet the needs of the safe and economical structures and to produce the disaster prevention systems.
