Concrete-Filled Steel Tubular (CFT) Structure Applications Maruito Sapporo Building

CFT Structures
Concrete-Filled Steel Tubular (CFT) Structures

The CFT construction method employs concrete-filled steel tubular structures that synergistically combine the individual strengths of their component materials to offer superior structural stability and fire resistance. As a result, it has become among today's most widely discussed new construction methods. Kajima has created innovative design and construction technologies for CFT structures that are stronger than was previously possible and that are suitable for medium- and low-rise buildings as well as ultrahigh-rise buildings, such large-scale buildings as train stations, and diverse other types of buildings. Kajima's CFT structure technologies are enabling construction work to be performed more quickly and at lower cost.
