The personal information of entrants (hereinafter referred to as “personal information”) submitted to the website(https://www.kajima.co.jp/english/csr/culture/sculpture/, hereinafter referred to as “this website”) of KAJIMA SCULPTURE COMPETITION (hereinafter referred to as “the competition”) will be treated in accordance with the provisions in the “Law Concerning the Protection of Personal Information”(Law No.57, promulgated on May 30, 2003) of Japan and its guidelines and Kajima Corporation’s policy on the protection of personal information (https://www.kajima.co.jp/english/information/privacy.html, hereinafter referred to as the “Company-wide Policy”), as well as the following policies (hereinafter referred to as “the policies”).

Entrants who applied to the competition from this website are deemed to have fully understood and agreed to the content of the policies.

1. Scope of Application

   The policies apply to this website alone and not to the entire website of Kajima Corporation which includes this website. While the website of Kajima Corporation may contain links to other websites, the policies do not apply to the linked websites.

2. Content of Personal Information Acquired

   Entrants who have been identified may be contacted if necessary. For this reason, we are asking entrants applying to the competition to enter their name, address, phone number, e-mail address and other information in the Application Form. In addition, we are requiring entrants to enter their occupation, highest level of school completed (school name), study abroad experience and other information for reference during screening.

3. Use of Personal Information

   The personal information acquired as stated above (2) will be used to identify, screen, contact entrants, publish the evaluation results, advertise the competition and perform the necessary activities for the competition.

4. Subcontracting

   Some of the operations of this competition may be outsourced to a third party other than Kajima Corporation. In this event, the aforementioned third party will be required to maintain strict control of personal information pursuant to the policies as stipulated in the contractual obligation.

5. Control of Personal Information

   In order to prevent the loss, falsification and leakage of information, we will pay maximum attention to security measures and maintain control over personal information under a safe environment in which access to personal information will be denied to not only general users but to any non-designated employee of Kajima Corporation.

6. Prohibition Against Disclosure and Provision to Third Party

   The personal information acquired will not be disclosed or provided to a third party excluding circumstances in which entrants themselves have given their consent, some of the operations of this competition may be outsourced to a third party under the appropriate measures in regards to the privacy policy, names and prizes of higher-ranking winners are posted on this web page, magazine or other media in order to publish the result of the competition or when required under the law.

7. Disclosure, Correction, Modification and Deletion of Personal Information

   If disclosure, correction, modification or deletion of personal information is requested by the entrant, we will disclose, correct, modify or delete the registered information within reasonable limits upon verifying that this is the will of the entrant him/herself. Entrants who wish to disclose, correct, modify or delete their personal information should contact us (please refer to 10 for our contact information). However, please be aware that personal information relevant to screening results may not be disclosed.

8. Security Regarding Acquisition of Personal Information

   We are striving to protect the personal information contained in the Application Form that is sent to us via this website by encrypting the information. Due to the nature of the Internet, however, complete security cannot be 100% guaranteed during transmission. Therefore, we ask that entrants apply on their own responsibility.

9. Policy Revisions

   The content of the policies may be revised in accordance with the formulation of and amendments to relevant laws or Company-wide Policy, etc.
