A radio wave anechoic chamber is a laboratory designed to prevent reflections of electromagnetic waves. The chamber is also insulated from exterior sources of electromagnetic noise. A wide range of highly accurate electromagnetic experiments is possible in the chamber because of these properties.
By using a radio wave anechoic chamber, the propagation characteristics of radio wave can be validated with high precision, and the immunity of an electronic device against electromagnetic noise and the performance of electromagnetic shielding material and construction method can be evaluated.
Outline
- Our large-scale radio wave anechoic chamber, which is 15 m in length, 7 m in width and 4 m in height, is ideal for the evaluation of the propagation characteristics of electromagnetic wave.
- The electromagnetic shielding performance and the electric wave absorbing performance of the chamber are greater than 100 dB and 30 dB, respectively.
- The electromagnetic shielding performance of 100 dB or more can be evaluated up to frequency of 10 GHz.
