Thermal Environmental Performance Simulator

Thermal Environmental Performance Simulator

Simulator to make two outside and indoor spaces the artificial weather spaces to check thermal performance of various building materials and the complex.

Features

  • The specimens can be set horizontally and vertically so as to divide the two spaces. The indoor and outdoor chambers are used to investigate prevention of dewing, energy-saving, etc. by means of the statistical weather data of a subject area and by giving changes with time of indoor temperature and humidity conditions.
  • The heat is supplied from the heating and cooling source supply system, and the working temperature range is +15℃ to +35℃ for indoor chamber and -15℃ to +80℃ for outdoor. The heating and cooling source supply system consists of three types of piping networks and heat supply equipment to supply necessary heat energy to an optional place in the experimental building.

The available systems and the temperature conditions are shown below

Brine System -20℃ to -5℃, 0 to 500lit/min
Chilled Water 6℃ to 20℃, 0 to 260lit/min
Hot Water 40℃ to 75℃, 0 to 280lit/min
