These Large-scale synchronous exciters for vibration testing comprise three units: two for horizontal vibration and one for vertical. Each exciter generates a sinusoidal force by rorating two pairs of eccentric masses. These devices can be used to investigate the dynamic properties of structures,in particular large structures.
Major Applications
Nuclear power plants, high-rise buildings, long-span prestressed-concrete bridges, foundations of LNG storage tanks, sea berths, etc.
Main Features of the Device
- The maximum exciting force is 10 t/unit in the horizontal direction and 5 t in the vartical direction.
- The eccentric moment(0.26 - 630 kgm, 0.03 - 30 kgm) and the viblation frequency(0.2 - 20Hz, 0.2 - 30Hz) of each exciter for horizontal and vertical directions can be reset at any time during operation.
- Synchronous operation with high accuracy is possible using exiters separately or two horizonal exciters together.
- Command is adjusted automatically from the control board.
- For manual operation, the vibration frequency and the eccentric moment of each exciter are set separately by manual operation. For automatic oparation, the exciting frequency is set after fixing the exciting force, and the eccentric moment is determined automatically by feedback control to maintain the fixed exciting force.
- Information during operation, such as vibration frequency, eccentric moment, sinusoidal signal, is transmitted to MIK system vibration-measuring van, from where automatic control of the viblation frequency and the eccentric moment is possible.
