The concept underpinning this project is “an office in the park.” Given its location looking onto Hibiya Park, it is a comfortable office development surrounded by greenery connected to the park. Right nearby are two pedestrian promenades, one linking buildings east and west, and the other running between road frontages nor th and south.
Pedestrian spaces—terraces, benches and cafés—were created so people can linger and relax. Office workers enjoy contact with greenery through the building’s design, which includes an office lobby featuring abundant interior greenery, standard office floors with views of Hibiya Park, and a rooftop garden and lounge space overlooking Hibiya Park for exclusive use by tenants. The building replaces the former Long-Term Credit Bank of Japan’s head office, but utilizes the underground part of the previous building’s frame almost intact, reflecting Kajima’s effort to use existing building stock.
