Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD)

Kajima Declares Support for the TCFD Recommendations.

In response to climate change, we established the “Kajima Environmental Vision: Triple Zero 2050” in 2013, aiming to actively reduce greenhouse gas emissions and contribute to the transition to a low-carbon society. We also believe that the mission of the construction industry is to support a safe society where people can live with peace of mind by providing technologies and services that contribute to disaster prevention and mitigation as natural disasters intensify.

Based on the recommendations of the TCFD, we will analyze the risks and opportunities that climate change brings to our business, formulate strategies, and enhance information disclosure.

Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD)

Kajima recognizes that addressing environmental challenges, including biodiversity, is one of its key management issues. It has therefore set "Contributing to society's transition to a carbon-free footprint" as its material issues, in which it also addresses harmonious coexistence with nature.
In August 2023, the Company endorsed the principles of the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) and joined the TNFD Forum.
