Kajima enjoys a high level of external recognition. For example, it has been selected for inclusion in both domestic and international ESG investment indexes.
FTSE4Good Global Index
This is a representative ESG investment index developed by FTSE Russell, a wholly owned company of the London Stock Exchange. Companies that satisfy evaluation criteria from the perspectives of ESG (environment, social, and governance) are selected for inclusion in this index.
FTSE Blossom Japan Index
This is an ESG investment index designed and created by FTSE Russell to determine the performance of Japanese companies with outstanding ESG initiatives in an industry-neutral manner. It is used by the Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF) as an investment outlet.
FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index
This is an ESG investment index designed and created by FTSE Russell to determine the performance of Japanese companies with outstanding ESG initiatives in a sector-neutral manner.
To encourage a transition to a low-carbon economy, companies with particularly high greenhouse gas emissions are included only if their efforts for improvement are positively evaluated.
This index is used by the Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF) as an investment outlet.

The MSCI Japan ESG Select Leaders Index
This is a free float-adjusted market capitalization weighted index based on the MSCI Japan IMI Index, its parent index, which includes large, mid and small-cap securities in the Japanese markets.
MSCI Japan Empowering Women (WIN) Select Index
This consists of companies that promote and maintain higher levels of gender diversity selected from the top 700 companies of the MSCI Japan IMI Index, and it is used by the Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF) as an investment outlet.

Sompo Sustainability Index
The SOMPO Sustainability Index is managed by SOMPO Asset Management, and consists of approximately 300 companies with outstanding ESG performance. It is used for SOMPO Sustainable Management, a product for long-term investments.
CDP
Kajima was recognized as a company on the Climate Change A List, as it received an A (the highest score in the climate change category) by CDP (headquartered in London, UK). CDP is a nonprofit organization committed to environmental investigations and information disclosure and its annual environmental disclosure and assessment process is widely recognized as the global standard for corporate environmental disclosure. This is the third time that Kajima has been placed on the Climate Change A List by CDP.
Digital Transformation Stocks (DX Stocks) 2020
Digital Transformation Stocks (DX Stocks) 2020 is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Tokyo Stock Exchange, and Kajima was selected in this initiative as a company that actively promotes business model transformation using digital technology and that pursues further growth and an enhanced competitive edge.
Resilience Certification
This program grants certification to business operators that make active efforts toward business continuity in preparation for massive natural disasters. Kajima is certified as an Organization Contributing to National Resilience.
New Diversity Management Selection 100
In 2017, Kajima has been selected for the New Diversity Management Selection 100, an initiative from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry to commend companies that utilize a diverse range of human resources and help create value.
Eruboshi certification
We were granted "Eruboshi" Level 2 certification as a company with an excellent record of implementing initiatives in accordance with the Act on the Promotion of Women's Active Engagement in Professional Life in October 2024.

Health & Productivity Management Outstanding Organizations Recognition
This program is designed to highlight enterprises and small and mid-sized companies that practice excellent health and productivity management based on initiatives tailored to regional health circumstances and health promotion initiatives driven by the Nippon Kenko Kaigi. Kajima selected in the Certified Health & Productivity Management Outstanding Organization Recognition Program in FY2024.
My Declaration of Human Rights
"My Declaration of Human Rights" is an initiative hosted by the Ministry of Justice and the National Federation of Associations of Human Rights Volunteers. It lets companies and individuals make declarations about taking action for respecting human rights, thereby helping realize a society where everyone respects each other's human rights. Kajima has expressed its agreement with this initiative, and it made its own "My Declaration of Human Rights" in July 2021. This declaration is published in the My Declaration of Human Rights on the Human Rights Library website.
