Kajima Declares Support for the TCFD Recommendations

Kajima has declared its support for the recommendations by the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD*).
In response to climate change, we established the “Kajima Environmental Vision: Triple Zero 2050” in 2013, aiming to actively reduce greenhouse gas emissions and contribute to the transition to a low-carbon society. We also believe that the mission of the construction industry is to support a safe society where people can live with peace of mind by providing technologies and services that contribute to disaster prevention and mitigation as natural disasters intensify.
Based on the recommendations of the TCFD, we will analyze the risks and opportunities that climate change brings to our business, formulate strategies, and enhance information disclosure.

The TCFD was established by the Financial Stability Board (FSB). Its final recommendations promote analyzing and disclosing risks and opportunities associated with climate change. |
