Kajima Corporation (the “Company”) has received a business suspension penalty from the Kanto Regional Development Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism in accordance with Article 28, paragraph 3 of the Construction Business Act, following the finalization of a guilty verdict in connection with a violation of the Antimonopoly Act over a construction project for the Chuo Shinkansen led by Central Japan Railway Company.

Accordingly, during the business suspension period, the Company has suspended the publication of its website related to the scope of business operations ordered to be suspended as described below.
We deeply apologize that this issue has caused great concern to our shareholders, customers, and all stakeholders.

1. Scope of business operations ordered to be suspended
   Nationwide businesses activities for engaging in new contracts related to civil engineering in the private sector
2. Period
   For 120 days from November 7, 2026 to March 6, 2027

The Company takes this penalty seriously, and all directors, officers, and employees of the Company will further strive to ensure thorough compliance and restore confidence in the Company.
