"Hike for Health, Leave No Trace," a cleanup hiking event, held in Malaysia
Members of Kajima (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., Kajima's overseas subsidiary, held a cleanup hiking event in Taman Rimba Bukit Kerinchi, a nature park in Kuala Lumpur, on March 19, 2023. This event, named "Hike for Health, Leave No Trace," was organized to promote the wellbeing of the staff and environmental action, as part of the CSR activities of Kajima, and contributed to achieving the SDGs.

On the day of the event, about twenty members participated in and enjoyed the hiking in the beautiful nature while picking up litter in different areas of the park. Although the route included a rough path up the mountain, the members displayed good teamwork, helped each other, and collected about ten bags of litter, including cigarette butts and plastic bottles.

Participants say, "Participating in this event together with colleagues has given us an opportunity to take a fresh look at our health and environmental awareness. It was an extremely worthwhile activity." The event ended up as a great success.
