From October 12 to 15, 2023, the Social Welfare Foundation Tohoku Organization for Artists with Disabilities, which Kajima's Tohoku Branch assists as a supporting member, held "Art to You! Tohoku Shogai-sha Geijutsu Zenkoku Kobo-ten (Tohoku Public Exhibition of Art by People with Disabilities Nationwide)" at Sendai Mediatheque (Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture).

Since 2015, this exhibition has been held to encourage people with disabilities to have purposes in life through artistic activities and we select winners of and present the Kajima's Prize.

Held for the 9th time, this year's event attracted a record 1,113 works from 45 prefectures nationwide. After careful screening, 60 of the 130 selected entries won prizes.

The winner of the Kajima Prize was Koichi Kurosawa's Fugaku Sanjurokkei (Thirty Six Views of Mt. Fuji) in 1964. His work features landscapes of Japan in 1964, the year of the Tokyo Olympic Games when the country rapidly changed and modernized with the construction of expressways and skyscrapers, and the picturesque view of Mt. Fuji, which had remained unchanged since the days of Katsushika Hokusai's Fugaku Sanjurokkei.

During the exhibition, 3,811 people came to the venue to see the selected works.
