This prestigious golf club embarked on the rebuilding of its main clubhouse in its 55th year. The 36-hole course, in the Musashino area, features varied and naturally hilly terrain that provides a dynamic playing experience. The multifunctional clubhouse is designed to enhance the enjoyment of senior and women players, improve energy efficiency, blend with the mature course landscape, and realize a unified appearance. While construction took place, the original facility remained in operation, so that no temporary structure was required. Hence, the layout includes a corridor space which detours around the spot where the old clubhouse stood. Affording sweeping views of the course from their second floor location, the central lounge and dining room have inherited the neat wood finish of the old clubhouse. The wooden main roof provides unity, while the deep eaves create a pleasant overall appearance.
