Located in Midosuji, the symbolic main street of Osaka, the building leads in creating the future scenery of the street, as the first facility to be built conforming to the district plan relaxing the height and floor area restrictions to generate a lively atmosphere on the streets. The mixed-use building consists of a luxury hotel (upper floors), rented offices (mid-rise), a multi-purpose hall (2nd floor), and retail space (1st floor). The exterior design is composed of a middle and high-rise portion that harmonizes with the tradition and style of Midosuji and a highly transparent low-rise portion. The road on the north side is designed with a cobblestone pavement and planting as an approach to the historic Goryo Shrine, reviving the town’s memory. The building provides high specification features reinforcing the company’s BCP, including seismic resistance (HiDAX-R seismic vibration control damper), reliable electricity supply, emergency power generating facilities, a cogeneration system operating on mediumpressure gas, and an energy-saving system.
