This is a multi-purpose hall at the heart of the super-high-rise Breeze Tower, in Nishi-Umeda, Osaka. The hall lobby and foyer extend from an atrium, and its interior white theme is in harmony with the external hues, while the natural light pervading the lobby provides a sense of transparency, drawing in the mood from outside. The hall's jet-black box shape clearly contrasts with the surrounding white to accentuate its separation from everyday life. Hosting events ranging from plays to concerts, it has a reputation among performers as a space with a particularly positive impact on mental and emotional focus, and with appropriate acoustics for singers, actors and musical instruments. As a closed-off space within a high-rise building, the hall provides tranquility and just the right amount of reverberation, thanks to an expansive space and the detail used on the side walls.
