This factory for solid-formulation generic pharmaceuticals is Nippon Chemiphar’s first manufacturing facility outside Japan. The Japanese government has mandated that generics account for 80% of the drugs used in Japan. As a result, the factory has an output capacity of 600 million pills. The facility conforms to pharmaceutical good manufacturing practices, as recognized in Vietnam and a large number of countries worldwide. The factory is located near the entrance of an industrial park, making it easy to see from the road. Hence, the eaves and louver façade serve not only as insulation-thereby helping save energy-but also as an expression of the corporate image. The production area (ISO 8) has a surrounding passageway that serves as a buffer zone, allowing visitors to observe the flow of production without entering the manufacturing area. This eliminates any risk of outside air entering the clean room.
