Located in Ha Dong District in the southwest of Hanoi, where the population is multiplying, this is the fifth and largest Aeon Mall in Vietnam. Inside is a directly-managed supermarket, 220 specialty shops including 80 restaurants, a food court with approximately 1,000 seats, an amusement area, and a cinema complex. Inspired by silk, the local specialty of Ha Dong, the interior/exterior designs were unified in the design concept of “Inspire Knitting” and the keywords “transition of thread (line) being interwoven (intersection) into fabric (surface),” “wrap” and “weave.” Corresponding to Aeon’s focus on digitalizing the next-generation malls, the first large-scale digital signage tower was installed. The wireless light control system is also a new experiment to become a model for future Aeon mall projects in Japan and Southeast Asia.
