Structure
Examining the strength and safety of various large-scale or important structures to support Kajima as a technology-driven company. By using a force application system with large actuators and automatically controlled hydraulic pumps, we are able to conduct various performance verification experiments using large models, contributing to highly reliable designs and the development of new technologies.
Loading system
The performance of a structural member is assessed by applying vertical and horizontal forces with a frame fixed to the reaction floor.
Reaction Wall, Reaction Floor Slab
Two reaction walls (large size: 12 m high x 16 m wide, small size: 5 m high x 12 m wide) can withstand a maximum load of as much as 46,000 kN.
