Kajima accepts the first participants in private sector training for teachers in Osaka Prefecture

  • Education for the next generation

Kajima accepted teachers from Osaka Prefecture to train them for three days between August 4 and 6, 2015, in a similar manner to the last session held in July. This was the first time we accepted participants in the Kansai region. The training session started with multiple departments of the Kansai Branch giving presentations on their jobs, followed by a tour of civil engineering and construction sites. There was also a talk on how human resources are nurtured at Kajima, followed by a group work session.

It was a very meaningful experience with lively exchanges of questions, answers, and opinions. Going forward, Kajima will cooperate in private sector training for teachers.

Private sector training for teachers was attended by 29 teachers from Tokyo Prefecture

  • Education for the next generation

Kajima accepted participants of the private sector training for teachers program held by the Keizai Koho Center (Japan Institute for Social and Economic Affairs) . The program is implemented as an activity to promote dialog between economic and educational circles. This year, Kajima will accept two groups, and the first group of 29 teachers from Tokyo Prefecture attended the program for three days between July 22 and 24, 2015.

The program included tours of the Kajima Technical Research Institute and civil engineering and building sites as well as classroom lectures on Kajima's human resource nurturing and other topics, followed by group work. These activities are designed to bring participants a better understanding of Kajima and the construction industry.

Since there are many high school teachers this year, we hope that they apply what this program offers at school and help students enter further education or explore their future paths.
